Since the Pittsburgh Steelers decided not to continue with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, the team immediately entered the quarterback market, and one of the names always linked to the team was future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers, who, after a couple of difficult years with the New York Jets, was looking for new horizons.

In March, Aaron Rodgers discreetly visited the Pittsburgh Steelers' facilities. However, nearly three months passed until, at the beginning of June, it was announced that the quarterback had reached a one-year agreement to play under Mike Tomlin.

What is certain is that signing Aaron Rodgers was the best thing that could have happened to the Steelers, especially since the starter was Mason Rudolph. Nevertheless, the competition is very tough in the AFC North, where it seems the Ravens will battle for the top of the division with the Cincinnati Bengals.

In the locker room, they are happy with Aaron Rodgers

It is well known that Aaron Rodgers has a strong character, and there has been much talk about controversies in the locker room during his time with the Green Bay Packers and New York Jets, especially regarding his relationships with his head coaches, Mike McCarthy (Packers) and Robert Saleh (Jets).

Aaron Rodgers is the leader of the quarterback group that also includes Mason Rudolph, rookie Will Howard, and Skylar Thompson. Thompson, in particular, has spoken highly of Rodgers, saying he has been surprised by his personality.

"I think he gets misinterpreted a lot because people judge a book by its cover and don't really know him," Thompson recently said about Rodgers, according to Mike Jones of The Athletic. "I'm not claiming that I really know him, but just being around him on a daily basis, he's a good dude, cares about his teammates, holds people accountable. There's a real desire for greatness that he expects all the time, and that's been a great perspective for me."

This may be Aaron Rodgers' last year. Although the division is tough, the future Hall of Famer will surely make the team competitive, and combined with a solid defense, the Steelers could become a real headache for opponents.
